Aidila is a Nurse Clinician in the Nurse Speciality Care Unit (NSCU), assisting Pulmonary Hypertension Team in managing specialised cases such as Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) and Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD). Aidila has also involved herself in a monthly joint Cardiac Obstetric Clinic with obstetricians from SGH and Monthly Transition Clinic in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH), which is run jointly with paediatric cardiologists from KKH for patients above the age of 16. The aim is to give paediatric patients a smooth transition from paediatric cardiology to adult cardiology services.
In 2015, as a part of a 6-week development programme in Hammersmith Hospital (West London), Royal Free Hospital (London) and Papworth Hospital (Cambridge), Aidila was introduced to the advanced management of pulmonary hypertensive patients. She appraised and adopted new skills and knowledge on the latest therapy for patients with pulmonary hypertension. In collaboration with the National Heart Centre PH team, she is actively involved in the delivery of the IV Veletri Therapy programmes and acts as a resource person for ACHD / PH Disease services and referrals.
